Looking to be published? Global Affairs Review accepts article, book review, and op-ed submissions from students, faculty, and alumni of the Center for Global Affairs, as well as unaffiliated contributors.

To submit articles, book reviews, and op-eds, please read the criteria below and click on the relevant link. Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis.

If selected for publication, submissions will be reviewed by the Global Affairs Review editorial team then returned to the author for final edits. The article will then be posted to and made public.

PLEASE NOTE: We are currently accepting submissions for Spring consideration until April 24, 2020. All submissions received after this date will be considered in the Fall 2020 semester.

Submissions Criteria:

Articles and Policy Papers should be between 1,500 and 4,000 words long.

Articles submitted can include any citation style. If an article is selected for publication, the author will be asked to ensure that the citations follow MLA style and to include a list of works cited.

Book reviews should be between 700 and 1,200 words long.

Op-eds should be between 500 and 800 words long.

Global Affairs Review is highly selective in choosing op-eds for publication. Op-eds should be practical, well researched and clearly argued; they should offer realistic recommendations.

All submissions should be Word documents. Global Affairs Review does not have formatting or content limitations.

All submissions must be the author’s own work and must meet academic integrity standards.
